The Holy Spirit
The past few broadcasts we have been talking about the Holy Spirit. We have shared personal testimonies, stories from the team and experiences on what it is like to always have the Spirit of God present in your life. John 4:24 says that, God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship in spirit and in Truth. For years I have said that if you really want to see what God has for you, you must be in the Spirit. How do you get in the Spirit? You read God’s Word. When you read God’s Word it is going to put you into the Spirit because Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). When you pray it is going to put you in the Spirit. In the book of Joshua, it says to meditate on the Word day and night (Joshua 1:8). What people need to understand is that the Bible is not part-time. I have been saying for a long time that God is not looking for weekend visitations. In other words, God is not looking for you just on Sunday! I know a lot of people who will stand in front of Jesus and say: I did not miss one Sunday for a year; but what will they say when Jesus asks about the other 313 days of the year?
You do not have to leave God out of anything. God wants to be your number one in everything! He loves you so much, He has given His children access to walk victorious and it comes by walking with Him. Some may say: How do you do that? You do it by walking in the Spirit. When you walk in the Spirit you will survive storms, you will survive the pestilence and you will survive anything that comes your way because you will have God in the center of your life. This is how we overcome the COVID19. I am not saying it is not a real virus or that it does not kill people. What I am saying is that I will never claim it to be bigger than Jesus Christ. Jesus is bigger than all things and that is where we need our focus and attention to be. When you keep your eyes on Jesus, you can walk on the water. Remember that in a storm, God is still a God who rewards. As a ministry we have just experienced a rewarding God, even during one of the biggest storms that hit this land. We are now receiving one of the greatest blessings and we will be share more on this as we go on.
Many people have focused on the storm and on following the instructions and directions given by government officials. “One day you should wear a mask, while another day you should not”. It seems like they do not know what to do or what works anymore, but if you focus on God’s Word, He will always put you on top of the storm – Can you say Amen! Over the last 6 weeks I have been reading in Ephesians 1:17-21 about the eyes of your understanding being enlightened with the Spirit of revelation and you should be going over these Scriptures regularly to it will be made manifest over your life. We are living in some exciting times!
In Luke 8:43-48 we see a woman (the woman with the issue of blood) who was following instructions and directions. She had suffered many things from many physicians, she spent all the money she had, and she became worse! This is what people are doing today. They are following instructions and directions, but they are getting anxious, they are getting depressed, and some are losing everything they had, all because they are trusting that the government will do something… Our trust should always be in the Name of Jesus. Every believer should be standing on His Word because that is how we overcome! I believe that for those who have been with us, receiving this Word, you will walk in the Power and authority to tread over serpents and scorpions and nothing will harm you (Luke 10:19).
Galatians 4 says that He sent a Spirit of adoption and now we have an inheritance. When we operate by His Spirit we are operating as His sons. When the woman with the issue of blood had enough of her circumstances and saw that nothing was working out for her, she decided it was time to go against all odds. She knew Jesus could heal her and when she heard He was in town she moved forward and was led to do something that went against every instruction and direction she had received. That woman was led by the Spirit of God. I am not talking about a spirit of rebellion. Romans 8:14 says that, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. When the law of the land goes against the Word of God, we have an obligation to take a stand for what He says in His Word.
James 2:14-26 tells us that faith without works is dead. I have gone over this before: It is time for the believer to show the works for their faith. Let us come together and pray – let us come together to decree and declare over this nation and its leaders. We must take authority over the spirit of fear trying to plague this land and command it to stop! [2 Timothy 1:7] I am not against you wearing a mask if you need to, and there is no condemnation, but what I am against, is the fear mongering being forced fed to every person watching every media outlet. Enough with the Fake News and let us bring out the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I believe that as you stay in His Word and walk by His Spirit you will see the manifestation of what God does in your life! He will keep you ahead of the enemy and you will rise-up stronger than before!
