Founder / President of Connecting Your Vision. ​Many years ago, God gave me the name Connecting Your Vision, with a ministry assignment to go and help fulfill the vision God has given each Senior Pastor. My wife, Pastor Vicki Hooper and I, received our ordination through Revival Ministries International and have been on this journey since November 2001. After 27 years in business of various types, I answered the Call to go into full-time ministry. During this time, business was at its peak, so I knew this Call was from God. The Holy Spirit spoke and said: “go into my churches bringing infrastructure and accountability, without compromising the move of God.” He was telling me God has given his Pastors a Vision and that Vision is not to be crossed. Over these many years I have seen great preaching, great praise and worship. This has led me down the road of how things work behind the scenes. In many cases, it’s not what you would expect. You would expect things to be in order. Unfortunately, I have seen church by-laws not in order, board minutes not in order, organization flow not mapped out, background checks not done, and so many other things the devil can use to take out a good, hard working church. Hosea 4:6 (KJV)6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. I am a firm believer that you must shut every door where the enemy can come in. This means, front door, side doors, and back doors. A plan must be in place to update the Senior Pastors on all doors, no matter how big or small. As I head into my 20th year in ministry, we have seen a thing or two. For us, Connecting Your Vision is always about the Vision of the house, driven by the Senior Pastor. Over the years, we’ve conducted many leaders’ meetings and addressed various points.
